Lovely watch. Well made and well thought out. The green dial is well executed and is a great deep green colour, really like it. For the price, with a good movement, you can't really go wrong with this piece. It fits/wears well and looks good.
The only downside is the noise of the rotor, could be tweaked in future revisions, but a great watch overall.
Great design, very wearable dimensions, good quality workmanship, very good value overall.
I was extremely impressed by the desgin and quality of the watch. The amount of care that was taken and service with strap options was impeccable.
The lum, dial texture and finishing of the watch felt like a luxury watch, to be able to purchase under 1000 dollars is just amazing

Excellent watch bought two colour ways, both the purple and the red. Very happy with both, the dials really pop and the inclusion of two extra straps was most welcome.
Parea has done a phenomenal job on this beautiful piece of timekeeping! The care and passion that has gone into making this watch is so evident.
The watch itself achieves that beauty in simplicity by getting the details spot on - the varied textured dial, the luminous indices and syringe hands, the sandblasted texture on the side of the watch which is an insight into the grainy texture of the dial, sector dial and custom rotor are so perfect by not being overdone.
Add to that, the two extra straps, the watch roll and the UV light are the gift that keep on giving.
This is all matched by Peter's professionalism. He was always communicative and responsive. Never a doubt in my mind that this Kickstarter project would see the finish line. I hope for the sake of the watch community, that everyone gets the chance to experience one of these beautiful timepieces!
I am excited to be able to share this with my 5 year old when she's older...purple is her favourite colour!

The Parea black sector dial is a quality, understated watch, which wears comfortably and looks great on the wrist.
Received my sector after backing the kickstarter and couldn’t be more pleased with it. Wears beautifully with great finishing. With a gorgeous dial, and great lume it definitely punches way above its weight. My only regret is only have the red and blue…
What a gorgeous watch. Great care and effort has gone into the design and execution of this watch. From its proportions to its finish, it is evident that it is a labour of love. Sizing is perfect for a dress watch - modern but not overbearing. The dial is beautiful and crisply legible. The colour of the plum dial is unique and the lume is spectacular (finely demonstrated by using the included UV light). The strap and the addition 2 included straps are made of a supple leather that feel soft on the wrist and look the part. I’m very tempted to buy another one in a different colourway. As a fan and supporter of micro brands, I’m very excited to see what the next offering from Parea watches will be.

Owner, Peter is a watch enthusiast himself and has dedicated a lot of thought into the watch.
The proportions are perfect for a dressy watch, with great depth on the dial, lume is excellent and there is a high grade Miyota 9 series powering it with a custom rotor.
Overall, a great value for money and an absolutely fabulous watch that will enjoy a lot of time on my wrist

I can't express how satisfied I am with the watch and the color. Perhaps it was difficult for me to choose out of the beautiful options but I finally made up my mind with the Purple Plum. The dial contrast is unique and evidently went through a lot of thought process and efforts to get this result. I was intrigued by this concept of this new watch before the Kickstarter, moreso being a new Australian micro. As a Kickstarter it naturally took a while to deliver, but with Peter providing plenty of updates along the journey. A couple delays to perfect components was definitely the right choice, and the end product couldn't be better. With rich colours to choose from I chose the green. It turned out to be the right choice, it's a very rich almost formal green, not too loud, but plays very well in the right light and works well in both formal and informal settings. The full lume rings, markers and hands make this very easy to read in any condition. The size is perfect and the supple leather straps are excellent. I think Dragon Red is next... Very interested to see Parea's second piece in the future!
The dial on this watch is amazing, especially when it catches the light. So many different textures to it. The detailing on the case is impressive as well - mostly high-polish but with the sand-blasted sides for contrast. The quick-release straps make for super easy strap changes, and the ones that come with it are really nice. The red one is my favorite, but I think it also looks good on a crocodile strap that I had - it really brings out the neo-vintage vibe. With a 20mm lug width, plenty of options will fit! The lume looks great - putting it on the brand name is a nice touch, and something I've not seen before. The movement has been super accurate so far, and the sapphire display caseback shows it off beautifully. The only quibble I have is that the rotor is a bit noisy, but I've heard that's par for the course with Miyotas (this is my first). All in all, an amazing watch with great packaging and extras (watch roll, UV light, suede strap) to boot. Well done, Peter and Parea!
