Parea Sector FAQ

What is the warranty for the Parea Sector?

Our Warranty Promise

Every Parea watch is built to last, and we stand by that. That’s why all of our timepieces come with a 2-year international warranty from the day they leave our hands and arrive in yours.

If something isn’t right, we’ll make it right. Your warranty covers any manufacturing defects—because you deserve a watch that works as beautifully as it looks.

What it doesn’t cover are issues caused by everyday mishaps like accidents, neglect, or not following the care guidelines we share. Think of it this way: if it’s our fault, we’ll take care of it.

Whether purchased through Kickstarter or directly from us, your watch is protected. For all the details, visit our Warranty & Support page.

The rotor appears loud? Is that normal?

The Miyota 9039 uses a freely spinning, uni-directional, efficiently weighted rotor designed for reliability and strong winding performance. Because the rotor is allowed to move with minimal resistance, some wearers may notice a gentle spinning sound during wrist movement. This is a normal characteristic of the movement and is often appreciated by enthusiasts as a reminder of the watch’s mechanical nature. It does not affect accuracy, durability, or long-term performance.

How long does the BGW-9 lume last for?

When fully charged by a strong light source (like direct sun or a UV flashlight), high-quality Super-LumiNova BGW-9 will glow visibly in the dark for several hours.

You’ll see very bright output initially (the first ~10–15 minutes), then a gradual fade, but it often remains readable through the night (about 6–8+ hours) with dark-adapted eyes, depending on how much lume is applied and the charging conditions.

However, this depends on the thickness of the lume e.g. the hour markers will glow brighter than the hands due to the thinness of the hands.

Do you offer worldwide shipping?

Yes, we offer worldwide shipping for our watches and we use DHL. Some countries are not available such as: Belarus, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Myanmar/Burma, North Korea, Russia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen.
